Ha! Art's CD? So not all of it was her own programming... of course.

I think they like her streaming because they are infatuated with her on-air personality (why, why, why???!!!???), and they think this is somehow personally aimed at them.

Apparently it has not occurred to them that if she can't sustain doing her shows on a regular basis without issues, she would not be able to sustain additional hours of managing streaming music for them when not on the air. After all, she's producing herself now, and is barely managing that.

In what world do they imagine she could pull that off for them, too? Sheesh.

True, but algorithms, so far, can't do as well as a real good DJ. Not that she is, I haven't listened. But, as an example, there used to be a guy here late night "Seque City" "Blue Monday" etc who was really good pulling obscure tracks etc and the "Seque City," in particular was crazy, especially if you never heard it before and might have partaken or drank too much and then, suddenly, realized "dude, there is a theme between all these songs, maaan." My only compliant with the online shows is, like Netflix, and other algorithms is that they force you into genres and "what you liked" too much.

Dang right! Some Hank Jr. He has to have the best backing band EVER because when is/was on a bit too much Beam and/or pills he goes between songs, changes key, adds lines, swaggers around missing a line, decides to make a song a medley, and what-not. GREAT STUFF!
