There is probably a bit of self-therapy in putting a new pic out there to convince herself (and other people, of course) that she doesn't care.  But I'm thinking it's equally likely there's some flaw in the Asshat pics she wants corrected, and that's what overcame her reticence.  I wonder what it could be -- the toothy smile, the unposed candor, the eyes?
