Since this is the de-facto Art Bell thread...
I have a mint condition copy of The Quickening.
I am thinking of cutting out that blank page in the beginning of The Quickening, Art signed it to my name (my "PA" - got it signed for me while I was on a fly-out gig).
If I cut that page out, do I completely screw the value? If that is the case, I might be better just tearing the book apart and putting it in the recycle bin. I would carefully cut it out with an extremely sharp razor but I'd prefer not to sell book with a personalized autographed anyway and, since he (as ghost Art) is fraternizing with Heather Leona Wade, I think he is being an asshole and I'd prefer not to have his book in my possession.
Actually, I am cleaning out everything as I'm not taking it with me. 20 years and I've probably looked at the signature two or three times. I feel bad someone went through the hassle to get it for me.
