Yes, very. It's hard not to sound sanctimonious here, but really, sincerely, I try (not always successfully) to talk to their higher self, to the best in them, rather than shame and chastise them. Anyone who acts like that is already feeling really badly about themselves, and if I can help spark even a tiny bit of self-respect or self-care in them for themselves, that's a good thing. As I say, hit or miss as to whether anyone else takes it in or not. She seemed receptive. I hope you are reading this, Tootsie, and see that many of us do care.
