Just got the call logs from the Nye County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with a chance to do so, please find the time of the welfare check in relation to the call (her show begins at 9 p.m. Pahrump time) and see if you can match it with a real call. I would do it myself but I have a web conference in about seven minutes.

She starts talking about suicide until around 2:13:00 in minutes. She states (paraphrasing) that she can't be on the air without medication and that she didn't want to live, hence the need for medication. The sheriff heads out 7 minutes after she states that, arrives around 11:43-44 her time.

Edited to reflect that DH meant the call in to the sheriff's not her call in time.

I just realized you meant the call in to the sheriff not your call. Will fix my timeline. It all matches up. I think it was a fan of hers who was concerned.

Her disturbing comment "I am not able to be on the air unless I have medication. This has tore me up inside to the point I don't want to live [pause] And that is the truth." was at 11:16 so someone was calling it in 4 minutes later and they knocked at the door at 26 minutes after the dispatch got the call.

I would guess it was a listener that was genuinely concerned.

If so, he could have been a national headline if he would down with grace.  Maybe a series of goodbye shows with the great guests over the years.  A humanization of his condition and the effects of smoking.  He could have really gone out a hero, loved by all.

He could have slowly faded, rode off in the sunset and ramped up Heather.

Art fucked his legacy (pun?)  massively and made it quite obvious that Ramona was the one who's (😀) management made Art the name he was.  She was his Brian Epstein - talent without discipline.

Heather will crash and burn.  She is who she is.  Her personality was set by age 7, add in hallucinogenic drugs, a world of grifting and probable onset of mental health issues (caused by drugs and naturally developed as she aged).  I just hope she receives the first bullet out of her pistol instead of someone else...  With her, I suspect that she'd target others first. Jus'sayin'...
