Ghosts and cats are both made out to be almost illiterate assholes.
The cats with the whole Can I Has? nonsense...
Ghosts with those nonsensical I DRIVE CAR FOREST lines these people think they hear on their EVP.
Wake me up when either group completes a proper sentence.
Well here you go Bart. Check out
The Sallie House - Ghost in the Machine over at the
Astonishing Legends podcast. I've been building some shelves in the garage and put it on while I was working. Part One is a 4 hour marathon where one of the hosts discusses how they were in Atchison, Kansas for an Amelia Earhart event. They had an impromptu invite to a haunted house in town and they caught an EVP. One of the hosts goes on a sincere sounding spiel on how it was malevolent and effected him deeply. To the point where he will never be the same. They then go on to lay a serious foundation. They discuss the American Indian tribe that lived in the area and discounted the over done "burial" ground scenario. They discussed the history of the house - the guy that built it, the family that lived in for many decades, etc. They discussed the legend surrounding the haunting - that a Doctor had his office there and operated on a little girl named Sallie that died on the operating table in horrible pain. They interviewed a couple that lived there in the 90's and were featured on the TV show
Sightings and discussed in great detail all that they went through. Part Two was more foundation laying - they talked about their visit to the house and interviewed some of their cohorts that were there with them. Finally, after two plus hours of Part Two, it is time to finally hear the EVP.
Of course they have a warning that sensitive folk should turn the podcast off at that point. No way in hell I'm doing that - I've come too far.
I want to hear the Mother of All EVP's, in all it's evil, horrible glory. They play it and it sounds like someone put a Mic right next to a bag of Ruffles Potato Chips as Senda is digging in to them.
