This thing has changed so many times I'm not sure what she's doing. Is it at Area 51 or at another location yet to be determined? Has she changed the date yet again?
She was so adamant that she was doing this for her and she was going to get to bottom of all the secrecy.
Another lie?
Her naive approach to things like Area 51 or wishing machines gives listeners a sense of false hope and inflated expectations in terms of grim and banal reality. She is bending her thought so far askew that anything in her world will be interpreted as communications from Art, ETs, or wishes granted. By her thinking she is projecting this to the listeners that their alien visitation dreams and wishes can come true as well.
In this way her presence is almost charming and quaint. Its impossible to know what she really believes until real world things happen. Does she see it as her duty to actually believe her own lies so that she can maintain she has always told the truth and believe that as well?
