For my credibility—I never served in the Armed Services. For over 30 years, as a volunteer, I have been a committee member for our local Veterans’s group.  Our group is made of 5 people. I am the only female and the only one who makes use of social media. On Facebook, we have over 1,000 followers. We have a web page and a video on YouTube.  One of our committee members is a Korean War Veteran.  I have given up trying to explain what a “like” is on Facebook to our members.
A “thank you” to your father. Now that I know that your Dad served in the Korean War, I am angrier about his photo being shared on Facebook. Netflix has a wonderful series called Medal of Honor. There are several episodes on the Korean War. It is about time we remember our Veterans from this “the Forgotten War”

I was raised by a mom who hated liars. She would say to us “the worst thing in life is to be a liar”.  I remember going back to my mom with this question “is lying worse than murder?”  My mom had to stop and think. Mom said that if you committed a murder and did not lie about it, you could be forgiven. “Yes, lying is worse than murder”.   To this day, I still hate liars. I am not on anyone’s side with the HW drama. The only side I am on is for the truth to win.  My mom would be so happy to know that it is illegal to Steal Valor.

The best advice/words my mother gave me was 'Honesty is the Best Policy' ... I'm proud that I've lived my entire life this way ...
