Indeed. I don't watch that kind. For some reason I like lower budget, and few larger budget, 70's horror movies of the psychological/spiritual variety though some of the slasher variety are good. Something about that era is good for a lot of movies. Gritty, harsh, etc. Italian Giallos can be really good also.

I like Miike's Samurai movies and some of his Yakuza films, but Ichii the Killer had me nauseous.
