There is definitely a mentality in some people who seek abuse. I saw women refuse to prosecute and walk out arm in arm with their abuser multiple times. The judge was indignant, but couldn’t do anything. Do these women deserve it? I don’t know, but they certainly seek out that treatment.
Nothing I’ve said is meant to reflect on the Neeleys. I don’t know them - only what’s been posted here.

Trauma bonding is a real thing. I don't think there any easy answers in understanding the dynamic.

They arrested him after I caught him trying to steal her car as I was staying and looking after the kids while she was in hospital .... he was deported back to Zimbabwe, which as a white guy was a much worse fate than being in prison over here.

Women need to speak up and stop protecting abusers.  I told u about my sister getting beat up with a gun. she never spoke up and i had to see it for myself snd he was going to shoot me my brother in law. I told you how i ran and hid under the truck and the garage. My sister stayed quiet and never told me she was being hit in the face with a gun. So she got what she deserved and it was her fault. You have to speak up or you cant play victim. Just saying heidi

These people are living in fear of their lives and the lives of their families. She probably was protecting YOU!!  I was giving you a chanch but I’m done with you. I thought Keith's tribute was perfect - very moving.

It was great and had the so called legacy showed up for her JOB it could have been a diff kind of show. The crazy fans blame Keith but it’s the falt of HW a proper send off didn’t happen.

I remember listening to it the morning after and reading along to the part of the thread on BG where people were talking about it. I had tears. I could imagine everyone sat around a fire on a beach with that show streaming and us all sharing the experience. It was very very powerful. I resubscribed to MITD that day. Mostly to say thank you to Keith and show him support as best I could.

Frankly, I’m saddened and dissapointed, I thought maybe there was another side to Miller. I can’t abide that thinking EVER!  Nobody deserves to be abused regardless of the situation.
