Glad to hear about your amazing breakthrough! That's great. Not sure I'm ready for hallucinigens though - no way! Coffee helps against dementia, and my clients have prescriptions which slow the progression. I'm only in my fifties, but I already show signs of dementia.
When I write, say I need to write 6 3 2 8. Typically, I would mistakenly write 6 6 3 2 8 or also 6 3 2 1. It is called "persistence", forgetting I wrote the original 6 (short term memory loss) and forgetting to finish writing the said number because of noticing a pattern (3, 2, ) and finishing the pattern instead of the said number.
And in my head, I use words interchangeably which are not really interchangeable, like vinegar and ammonia, or piano and fridge.
Jackstar's concerns about grammer are going to be the least of all our concerns ssoo soonopqrs soon .
I would end up making the mistake in the middle digits 6-2-3-8 by mistake especially if in a hurry. With multiples like 222226488334443333 I sometimes have to put my finger on the screen and count the digits! Pieces of paper and reciepts are helpful in reading books or dense text so as to avoid jumping lines or worse rereading them. On the computer its easy, as I highlight pieces of text with the cursor.
I have what is called monocular vision. Both eyes work, but not simultaneously. So I see clearly through one eye and the other looks like a smeared impressionist painting of rough shapes and colors. I've had it since birth, there is no cure. People get creeped at me because they are not sure what eye I am looking at them with - one eye drifts a bit.
As for parallel parking, forget about it without other cues such as hood ornaments. Sports with flying balls? Not going to happen unless I shut one eye completely. As such, I have been hit with every projectile known in team sports and am known for slamming my shoulders into things going down hallways or crowded areas.
As for memory, anything beyond the old 7-digit phone numbers is hopeless unless I can keep repeating it until it is written down.
*Funny with the blue and re 3D glasses. I played along and finally asked what color was I supposed to watch the movie in to see the 3D? Red or Blue? They thought I was stark raving mad!
