At the rate things go these days, Microsoft could have just as well replaced the lesser evil of Clippy with the Annoying Orange.  They would make all the text by default flourescent orange Comic Sans and make you voice login to the orange with no way of turning the feature off.

LOL That Clippy was quite the annoying little bastard.  At first he was kind of cute, but then I couldn't get rid of him.  And I remember the smarmy look in his little paperclip eyes.
