Just because you consider something to be in bad taste does not mean that it should be censored. That is basically what you want to achieve in a passive aggressive way, isn't it? Be honest. You say you and "others" were offended. Kindly speak for yourself and let other parties do likewise. That way you don't appear to be the mouthpiece for some monolithic group at EG who has chosen you as their spokesperson. Basically what you want is other posters at EG to not offend you with their posts. That's not how life or the internet works.
Partially true. Bad taste is so prevalent that I have resigned to not even trying to stop it or censor it, as this is a lost cause. (In my opinion, about 85%of what is in the media and general society to me is in bad taste, ugly, offensive or worthless/redundant.)
In order for it to gain my attention and active disgust it, must be: 1) violent 2) aimed at the defenseless. In that case, I will ask for censorship either passive/aggressively or all out aggressively when I am empowered.
I
genuinely could not tell that the posts by Wyngarde were intended as humour until you told me they were.
How am I supposed to know? In about 20-25% of the posts here, that I am not sure whether the poster is teasing or not. If two posters seemingly insult each other, I will check back later and if they seem to be getting along I will realize they didn't really mean harm to each other. This is nearly impossible to track for everyone, so I stay mostly neutral various disputes unless I know the facts and flag in my mind everything that was said to me. (This is why I considered Brig's stance to me as adversarial since Feb 2017) I only have things they have said directly to make an assessment of who they are.
Brig states on her own profile avatar: Hater and troll. You refer to yourself as an Inglorious Bitch, but others say you are normally resonable. You seem reasonable enough, but I am not exactly sure what your mission or objective is other than preventing any kind of censorship and ensuring any sites you remain on as being fun and not a "snooze-fest." by your standards. Is this correct?
