Art was so concerned about his legacy he somehow forgot to leave it to his family , friends , business partners , radio hosts , and gabbers .

Instead he left a house / studio and show to someone he barely knew with a little ambition while spending his time promoting and coaching while also filling on the night a certain orange paranormal figure announced he was running for president .

I've said it before that I really wish he would have never come/came back in 2013. Should have and just retired once and for all years before and kept quiet, private, and enjoyed the remainder of his life.

Better to keep people wanting more, than giving it to them and of course it could no longer the same.  He'd kept an iron in the fire by filling in and doing weekend shows, and his ego finally gave in to the fawning of his fans and came back.

That genre as he approached it had come and gone.  If he truly wanted to come back, it should have been with an updated format and a different set of themes - there are still conspiracy theories, general woo that appeals to late-nighters, and other topics of interest, but a lot of the old stuff was tired and debunked by the time he came back.
