I used to listen to him occasionally. Not bad. I kind of then started listening more to Clyde Lewis but stopped.
It might seem like a dumb reason to stop but the reason for it was if I recall correctly his top of the hour intros had some horrific dinosaur or monster screeching noise on them. Reminded me of Godzilla or something. I’d frequently fall asleep while listening and that damn noise would make me up constantly and couldn’t get back to sleep.
Know your time slot overnight folks. The jarring stuff should be reserved for morning drive.
Did anyone used to listen to that Lou Gentile guy? I always liked him fairly well but he’s been dead over 15 years. Died quite early. Cancer.
I have a vague memory of a very small time guy who did the “Kevin Smith Show” from the same era I used to like. It was just a quaint radio thing and enjoyable because it was so small time the same drunk might make it through on the phone 3 times in a show.
