Haha that station rocks.  I never knew how much bad 80's sci-fi I'd missed.  There is something awful with its sound quality though, or maybe it's purposely tinny to enhance the cheesy effect.

MeTV is broadcast over the air.  If you're anywhere near a city, see if it's in your area, at METV.com.  If so, pick up a cheap indoor antenna, like at WalMart, and you're in business.  MeTV is free OTA, along with other channels, like:

I can confirm that a cheap purchase (there actually was a guvmint program to give them free when the digital "switch" happened but I missed that) of a digital antenna is a great thing. You get, as mentioned, good tv (yes, you will have commercials, often for various insurances or medical devices and, yes, depending on area, you will get a lots of foreign language programming- which can be funny. Mexicans have some crazy shows. Lots of fat hosts and hot chicks and costumes. And it would seem that the various Orientals love home-shopping for weird herbs.)  Also, depending on signal, you will get BETTER HD than cable or internet on stations showing ball games or shows since the major networks also broadcast.

I credit ItsOver for encouraging me to get. And I don't regret it. I bring also when traveling and been able to pull in ballgames etc or use to get news in places where cables, internet, or sat dishes down (like after the Harvey, storm not movie/play.)

Absolutely.  I watch Me and Comet, most of the time.  Love the old 50's and 60's sci fi/ horror.  The badder , the better.

Apparently Ronnie James Dio "performed" in hologram? I think at Wacken a year or so ago? ItsOver talks about Roy Orbison also going to perform. Elvis also did some deal? I heard about the Abba thing but thought that they were, at least mostly, still alive? I've heard that in Asia they even have totally fake performers in pop concerts. Digital stars, I guess. To each their own. I could see though, if done, well how a 'recreation' concert of a famous one could be interesting.

Yes, all four members of ABBA are still alive and well, and are working together to create the new virtual concert. They will record the songs and the holographic images will be created from them performing the songs in the studio if I remember correctly.

She was very ill a while back but HW talked (coyly and indirectly) about giving her pot to help her recover, and apparently it helped.
