Midnight in the Desert with Nathan Stolpman
« on: June 17, 2020, 01:30:00 PM »
Rumor is MITD has been taken over by someone associated with Art’s estate.  It kicks off tonight, Art’s 75th birthday, and has weekday and weekend hosts.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

It's the same guy who took it over from Keith and the same plan of relaunching on his birthday.
They will pimp out Art for an hour every night.
The only change is they aren't calling it the Art Bell Network like originally planned.

Good money after bad.  Few had hard of the guy when he was at his peak, let alone now and with 20 year-old reruns.

Funny, I tried it to "tune" in only to find some other completely different show streaming...  They weren't even on their own network!

Now, I only tried to listen once, but...

I've seen the new host's name, seems different than the flat earth guy.  They are kind of like Heather after Art and Keith weren't there to do everything for her...
Eh, nevermind...

Damn @DaveScottSOR,  look at this, and for a shit show.

@Bart Ell,  I guess this is what happens when you have subscriber numbers consisting of two digits.

I have yet to see a show with double digit live listeners not decide a plan at $15 or higher is a good idea.
Imagine thinking people want to pay extra to hang out in Discord with these hosts?

I will stick to my $5 a month, that way everyone has an opportunity to enjoy what we do.
Come give Spaced Out Radio a listen some time. We like the WOO!

Amateur hour host. Groyper was, again, uncomfortably funny.

I wonder how subscriptions are over at MitD.
