I see a Full Moon rising...
For all that is bad, there is good. For that which is despair, there is hope. For the moments of pain,
There are moments of love. For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.

An extra 50 points for the best caption may be in order.

At least a gold star for TL this time.

No, I don't think it would be wise to pick a best caption and reward extra points.  Humor is too subjective...what's funny to one person might not be so for another.  All of the players are good at thinking captions up, and we should leave it at that.  However, readers are certainly free to comment on which one they think is the best, such as you did with Lily, and I'm sure she appreciates the fact that you liked her caption.

Interesting character and never heard of him before.

He feels like a predecessor for Reid Fleming, world's toughest milkman.

Equally tempermental but Fleming has much more of a potty mouth.

Glad you like him, Bob.  Everett and I go way back...as far back as World War One, in fact.  When I was doing research for the 100 Years Ago thread on BellGab, I kept coming across him, for the years 1916, 17 and 18, the last three years of the war.  (The last four months of the war were actually covered here on EllGab, in this very thread.)  Some things I learned about Mr. True - Yes, he has a nasty temper, but it is usually people doing irritating things that make him go ballistic.  He also 'takes action' whenever he sees children or animals being mistreated.  The only person who can lower the boom on him and get away with it, is his wife.

Here is a good one from the past:
