I am pleased to announce that @Bart Ell will be our Grand Quizmaster throughout the month of September.  Interestingly, @Mr Apnea held the lead throughout most of August, but apparently his bathrobe fell off during the last three quizzes and he had to stop, turn around and pick it up.  In the meantime, Bart, who had been in second place throughout the month, took advantage of the situation by leaping into the lead and from there, into the winner's circle with a score of 1,900 points.  Mr. Apnea takes second place with 1,750 points, well ahead of all the remaining players. 

There was a close run for third place between @JUAN and @Walks_At_Night, but when the dust settled, WAN was ahead by 50 points.  WAN had a total of 1,200 points, so he gets third place.  JUAN had 1,150 points, so he gets fourth place. 

Other players who broke the 1,000 points mark were @Bobs Your Uncle, with 1,100 points, and @TigerLily, with 1,050 points.
