Dear Blue Eyes,
Take your time, there is no need to rush. Your Mother has good intentions but may be getting ahead of herself. Enjoy both friends if that is what feels right.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

@juan oyster ice cream? Oyster ice cream has a special place in history.

@FISH I had no idea there was such a thing. I just found the theft of a quart of oysters from an ice cream factory interesting. Maybe they really were making oyster ice cream.

PIQUA- Oyster Ice Cream is not new NEWS to me. I live in one of the former colonies of Great Britain. Oyster Ice Cream was only second to Tomato Ice Cream. @juan and other EllGabers need to live in one of the original 13 colonies. We in the original 13 colonies, know our ice cream history.

Let your mother know that these boys are just friends who are boys and you are not thinking seriously about them. Since you have lots of friends, see the boys when you see your friends.  Save the nights for when you are serious about a boy.

Cleveland looks like a fun town. Between the increase in crime, whiskey theft and toy baloon tossing, it looks like it soon will be a hotbed of bootlegging

Blue Eyes seems to be much more fun than Brown Eyes. But just how much fun will Mrs. Thompson allow?

I say, make sure your mother understands these are friends who happen to be boys, not boyfriends. Tell Mom you aren't ready to be serious with anyone. Keep your time with these boys to time you are spending with other friends. For now, keep night time activities to a minimum with no dating of one boy nor another

You can go with both of them.  There's nothing wrong with seeing multiple people.  (Unless you're the poor sap who's seeing the two "Blue Eyed Twins" from the other day.  For reasons I don't fully understand, that guy's scum.)

Your mother thinks you're too young for going around at night.  When you get a bit older, have at it!

Talk to your mother about your feelings. Explain that those 2 boys are only your friends. You are not in love with the home boy or the out of town boy. Explain to your mother that you do not have two BOY friends. Just two friend who are boys—if this is true. In your youth, you should have female and male friends.
If you go out with these two special boys at night it may appear to others that you are a flirt. Wait until you meet a fellow that you find sexually appealing.  This is the ONE fellow you go out with at night and stay out of the petting pantry.

It is good to have many friends, including boys as friends. Explain to your mother that you are not serious about either of them but like them as friends. But yes, you are too young to go out with boys at night, as that would imply you are actually dating them. That will come in time.

P.S. Stay away from Oyster Ice Cream, they may think you eccentric.

Almost everyone gave two good pieces of advice to Blue Eyes.  However, I should have presented the quiz as being a two part, ten points a piece contest.  Therefore it is only fair to give all participants 20 points.

Bart Ell: 20 points
juan: 20 points
Mr Apnea: 20 points
PolkaDot: 20 points
anniem: 20 points
TigerLily: 20 points
Starbuck Twitch: 20 points
PB: 20 points
FISH: 20 points
Aquarius: 20 points
