Happy Valentine's Day @Rikki Gins and Mrs. T!
Louise,
A smart man likes an independent woman, but please don't confuse that with a mean or spiteful woman. Be yourself and be kind, beauty comes from within (most of the time).
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

If you’re not a sex siren you’d better learn to be kind and supportive when appropriate. And learn to cook.

Dear Lollygagger,
Even un-pretty girls may have an opinion. There is all kinds of “pretty.” Character and personality are what counts. Not a slaming personality. A pleasant not a pleasing personality will do. No crime in being smart and independent like Mrs T.
PS/Louse, I don’t think a grown man should be liking girls. ::)

Be pleasant but sincere. Be independent but no slamming necessary. Find the Middle Path and Do Unto Others ... Also smart, pleasant and good cooking can win in the long run. Be kind to yourself

💖💖💖Happy Valentine's Day, Rikki. And to all our gentlemen of Ellgab💖💖💖

You're making me look bad Elizabeth!  Roy is watching.  Now, put your right foot in and your left foot out.  Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around....then we can get the hell outta here!
