She’ll probably say to firmly tell the man his solicitations are unwanted rather than tell her to give him a black eye and call his wife to tell her how he got it. Or she could hold out for a new T-model.
I agree with @juan--She’ll probably say to firmly tell the man his solicitations are unwanted.
And @anniem  ;D

Thank you @FISH, @anniem and @juan for playing the What Will Mrs. Thompson Say? game.

You all win.  Mrs. Thompson told the girl to tell her boss to knock it off with the advances and such.  Interestingly, Mrs. Thompson thought that it was important to keep Hazel's parents apprised of the situation.  I had thought that Mrs. T. was going to jump all over the girl for working at the age of sixteen.  She was rather stern with other fifteen/sixteen year old girls who were interested in going to work, saying that they were way too young to get a job.

@anniem - LIKE.
synchronicity  :o
Mr Fish's great uncle was made from iron. This great uncle was "gassed" but survived the Departement de la Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France. Great Uncle Tom was a "Men of Iron".  For its staunch defense the 109th was nicknamed "Men of Iron" and the 28th was later dubbed the "Iron Division."

@anniem , and young men were men. This young man, lied about his age. He was only 17 years old at the time of his enlistment.

He was. We just had a video chat with my two brothers and my mother.  If only we could have done that when my Dad was alive.
