It pleases me to announce that @JUAN has returned to the winner's circle with a runaway score of 2,200 points, and he will be our Grand Quizmaster throughout the month of August. 

There was a close run for second place between newcomer @Exile and seasoned player @MAX, but when the dust settled, Mr. E. was ahead by 100 points, for a total score of 1,900 points, so he takes second while MAX finishes third with a score of 1,800 points.

There was also a hard fought battle for fourth place between @TigerLily and @Walks_At_Night.  It was so close in fact, that each player ended up with 1,550 points, so both of them win fourth place.

Other players who broke the 1,000 points mark were @Bobs Your Uncle with 1,250 points, @Bart Ell with 1,200 points and @Mr Apnea with 1,050 points.
