@ShayP I watched Terrifier and Terrifier 2 thanks to your post. Fantastic throwback slasher flicks. For movies that apparently cost only a couple hundred thousand bucks to make, they look like big budget horror. Fantastic technical work. Great soundtrack too.
Hey.
@bateman Hell yeah. Definitely fantastic throwback slasher flicks. Just as I was about to see Terrifier 2 and it was not in any theaters in my area. I waited too long. My loss. I'll just rent it.
The budget for Terrifier was $35,000. Think about that! The gore effects were remarkable. The guy that played Art The Clown. Wow. The mannerisms, etc. As far as horror icons go, to me, he is in the top 5. If he moves on from the genre he probably will have a nice career. If he stays in it, then he may go far.
By the way, there is a Terrifier 3 in the works.
I've been revisiting some old stuff like Last House On The Left and I Spit on Your Grave. The remake of LHOTL was really good. Now that the rights to Friday the 13th were finally given back to the original creator, I'm curious to see the next reboot. Whenever that happens.
