Never look a gift horse in the mouth is what I was always taught.

When I was staying in Michigan years ago a friend offered me the chance to shoot a gun. I’ll likely never do it again but I don’t regret doing it one bit. It’s a life experience.
Give pees a chance.

Ringo is cancer free. More tests tomorrow to make sure he is healthy enough for the dental anaesthesia, but a huge weight off my mind.

@DynamoHum, that's wonderful news, thank you for letting us know! Murphy and Jackson were cheering for him from the sidelines! +1 for Ringo!

Never doubt the silks

Thank you, Bart, I'll make a note of that should the need arise.  ;D  +1 for the silks!

I'm trying to catch up on things and wow, Lusha's been busy.

I guess she couldn't handle being just a regular member at The Fringe.

Interesting new friends - she's now stalking Heather's guitar guy!

But the big one - Lasha's Dr J's manager?  Can this be true?
Has Dr J been hiding under a rock and has no idea what a pariah she is?

Im the whiny one? why dont you read back 1000 pages. he is the one who trashed me and called me a liar saying I would never leave my house. I proved him wrong big time. he was ashamed with his body in his bed curled up crying because I did everything I was going to do. he isn't even a real man of his word, he is BETA, im ALPHA. he offered a class to gun training, I DONT OWN guns and never will. I have no need for his useless gift, if he had guts he would man up and gift like a real man. and stop talking trash.
When he offered the "gift" what was the exact wording?  Was the offer specific to a gun training/shooting class or range?  Or was it simply an offer of some random gift?  There seems to be two stories here.  One was that the offer was for something very specific and he was just going to transfer the membership to you.  The other seems to be that it was just a gift.  Is there a quote that can be brought up to clear this up?

The more often you fire your firearm the easier and less "shocking" it becomes.  I remember my first time and now it is second nature.  People are justifiably nervous at first.  The noise and power of the weapon can be a bit scary.  However, once you understand you are in control and that you are properly trained that nervousness of the unknown goes away.  The more often you can "train" with your firearm the better.  Not saying everybody should have one mind you.  Just that that nervousness will go away.  My kids were a bit anxious their first time, but that was likely because I had instilled a ton of safety training into them before they every fired live rounds.  But now they are the ones who are pushing me to go to the range.  It also helps to take training for those who never have fired a firearm.  The more you know and understand the less unnerving it will be.

good lord that was great.  I fully expected her face to come up and had to do a double take to make sure that really was not her face.

The sad part of this is that this actually reflects extremely poorly upon art.  If you were in a situation where you had to choose somebody to be your legacy, would you want what heather ended up doing to be that legacy?  Is that what you want to be remembered for?
