it won't be Ian, he's no spring chicken himself. i looked up Syrett's age and it appears he's one of those people who hide their age, estimates online are 52-53.

i hate Frank Morano on WABC almost as much as Noory, he thinks he's a raconteur but he's not, he's George Costanza if George didn't have talented writers making his shitty personality and life funny.

nobody with talent goes into radio, they do podcasts. Howard Stern always said radio was the lowest rung on the entertainment food chain and the reason he became so well known and rich is the competition was so bad.

Connie Willis seems to be the guest host who lobbies the most.
A few years back it appeared Jimmy Church was the heir apparent - but it seems he got tired of waiting for Noory to retire so he went off on his own.

He just told his guest, another sham healer/psychic who Noory calls 'Doctor' even though of course the charlatan has no real doctorate degree. Noory couldn't help himself trying to ingratiate and make himself look good.

I just subscribed to coast. Monthly. Realized that I had a credit of $15.44 on an old card so two months of..?-whatever, should do the trick.

Question:: Does anyone know the difference between the Art Bell Vault and the Art Bell SIT? What is the point of the two categories, and do they differ in any way?   Going to look for anything I may not have in my library. Nerd

Being that the Somewhere in Time series has that cutesy date limitation, they might only have three or four episodes for any particular date available considering that Art didn't really stick around long enough.

I would think that the vault would be just filling in the gaps. Considering that the sound quality is going to be considerably better, plus they will give you the actual date. It might be worth just downloading everything and then going back and picking out the duplicate shows that are lower quality.

Wouldn't it be great if there was an audio file duplicator search that could listen to the first 2 minutes of each show and pick out any duplicates??? I know that there is an image search that can pick out dupes, but with audio sources varying in quality and file size, the algorithm will have to be much more robust.
