always enjoy when he pulls out one of his old chestnut stories he claims are true stories yet they change with every retelling.

listening to the replay of the first hour of his interview with a judge who's a libertarian, the judge was in the Peace Corps as a young man. This gave George the opportunity to tell one of his stories 'Jim my uncle who's now deceased many years ago wrote a letter to a young senator from Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy, in his letter he described his idea for the peace corps.'

the guest's reaction was beautifully awkward, dead silence for a second, then 'yeah, cool'  lol wasn't buying the stupid story

he's told that story many times, his other version is that Kennedy was making an appearance at a campaign event and George's uncle attended it and was able to corner the young senator  for a private moment  and lay out the concept for the Peace Corps which Kennedy was quite impressed with.

The two shmoes on Red Eye Radio are unlistenable,  ponderously rehashing whatever other conservative talk hosts have blathered about earlier in the day. They laugh at each other's lame attempts at humor, they are a parody of white male Boomers.

Frank Marano has a new all night talk show on WABC, when he has a decent guest it's listenable.

I also hate Hannity, a lot.

My favorite political talk radio hosts are/were Rush, Michael Savage, Mark Levin and Armstrong and Getty.

I think that show prep for RER isn't even 100% conservative, they've aligned themselves with CNN misinformation frequently. For a while, pre-election, they were a lot easier to listen to than Noory.

Mark Levin's approach is unfortunate. Because of how he speaks, he immediately turns off the kids who might become conservative if they were able to listen to the message. By yelling, he immediately is dismissed by these emotionally-lightweight youth and those who are keeping the radio on for company (shut-ins, infirmed, project guys in the garage rewiring a guitar).

He's being himself, but if he spoke in a more jovial way, he would be logical choice to replace Rush. His intelligence and ability to speak on many subjects puts him in Rush's league.

I have a lot of complaints about Hannity. For how many years has the introduction said that it is "the new Sean Hannity show?" It's almost like they put as little effort into it as George Noory does his show.
Eh, nevermind...

I detest modern country music.  All of it.  It's awful.  Especially the fake twang voice affectation shit they all do, but it's more than that.  Anyway, just hearing Hannity play that garbage in his intro bumper makes me cringe.

New country is like contemporary christian... It's easier to build a fan base, a loyal fan base.

The music is another aspect of Hannity's that is difficult to tolerate. The only opening that's worse for a radio show is Ground Zero.  Although, in a way, Clyde's intro is more artistic.

Rush and Art both had the right ideas. Both were music DJs prior to talk hosts too.
Eh, nevermind...

What? Ground Zero is still on the air? I have not listen to Ground Zero in a long time.

I haven't either, many haven't. I think he was buying time on KOGO radio in San Diego. 1 hour on weekdays before Coast to Coast AM. They replaced him with repeating something like 2 hours of the previous night's C2C.
Eh, nevermind...

He makes it sound like the early '60s were *way* before his time. By the way, my uncle told me about this cool sitcom he watched; it was called "Seinfeld".

George said there was newly reloosed information about a topless topic tonight.

Snoory is pathetic.  I can't wait for a Premier Radio executive to listen to the show and get pissed off.  Oh, they don't give a shit. Nevermind.

Sneaky boy closed up shop an hour early tonight. The recorded interview was one he's used before when stealing away early. He's definitely trying to avoid being detected - the interview is with a dentist turned hypnotherapist, he chose it because it's a very generic interview with no references to anything current in the news at the time it  originally took place so it reduces the chances a listener would notice it's a replay and narc on him.
I kind of wondered about that, also because it's unusual to have 3 guests.

They did end and retract his Insider text chats, so something must have happened a while back.

I don't know if I was listening last night or if this was from the day before, but...

One of the specialist guests conveying some news or something was interrupted by George. The guy addressed the interruption and said let me finish or something of the sort.  I wish somebody would do that to Sean Hannity.

I then also heard him referring to Doc Wallach as being like a groundbreaking medical guy. What? Does he have good penmanship?

I mean he is one of the only guys on at night, next to the media retards at Red Eye Radio, I just don't know of any other nationally syndicated shows other than those two.

Making a reference to Sean Hannity reminds me that I hate that asshole. Ideologically, I agree with probably 99% of what he says but he is a big fucking asshole. He repeats stupid catchphrases and sharing stupid anecdotal stories while interrupting much more intelligent people who are trying to get a point across. They all bow down to him because he's on the fucking radio with a lot of listeners. Still, he's an asshole.
I was really happy that George's guest did that.  It is important that guests not let the host derail important progress in the dialogue (unless it's time for break).  I don't remember who the guest was.  Sounds like he wants to do quality speaking so if he's ostracized later then Coast wouldn't be a good fit anyway.  But if they have him back that would be great.

nobody touches Connie Lingus in the stupid no talent department. But Lee Cigar, as It's Over from BG calls her is pretty bad too, she just fancies herself an expert in more intellectual spiritual matters than Big Foot. She was shilling her website tonight, where she offers her services as a 'story coach', Lee Cigar will meet up with you on Zoom for 90 minutes and will delve into your personal stories and help you find yourself, then at no extra charge you get a 3-5 minute video of the highlights of your session that you can use as Lee Cigar calls it 'a calling card' on your social media sites.

her guest tonight was a charlatan I've heard before on Coast, he channels a spirit/demigod/imaginary-friend named Bashar, i think Bashar is an emissary of God or God himself. not surprisingly he also writes science fiction novels.

i should sign up for Lee's story coaching

Me: hey!

LisaGarr: Hello nice to meet you.

Me: I enjoy you on Coast, let's get started Toots

LisaGarr: alrighty, let's begin, do you have any questions?

Me: Yes. Do you have an empty wine bottle? or any kind of bottle will do

LisaGarr: hmmm, sure I guess, one sec

*Lee Cigar walks away and returns with wine bottle

Me: Great

LisaGarr: Let's begin shall we

Me: Ok, please lower your camera and fuck yourself with the bottle

LisaGarr: I'm not going to do that!

Me: I'll pay you an extra 50 dollars

LisaGarr: alright I'll do it for 5 minutes and that's all

Me: Deal!
Do not try this at home.  Think impossible vacuum suction.  Think glass lacerations.

To cheer me up from these disappointments, I've added a few things to my diet.  In the grocery freezer section, I pick up liver and gently fry it.  Regardless of how it tastes, a little bit once in a while is a great mood lifter.  I cut it into tiny pieces in a container in the freezer and have one or two per day.  Also, I've been doing as Mom did back in the day, and saving meat drippings in a cup in the fridge.  1/8 tsp of lard has a boatload of Vit D and omega in it.  At no additional cost, lol, and I've not gained any weight, actually lost a little.  As some Asian restaurants do, I'm putting black tea (loose or bagged) in my (mostly) decaf grind.  Very cheering, although the tannins go better with a little creamer.  These 3 things and the daffodils blooming already have been a cheer up after a long winter of frustrating dialogue on shows.

You know more than I do about his shows these days. I haven't listened in five or more years (yikes!), but it sounds like it's still aural "Groundhog Day". Guest: "Then, the ET made the most profound statement I ever heard as he said.... Noory: "Bob, do you think we're in End Times, 'cause I really do."
I can't remember what shows you like.
