Noory often responds with his "interesting take" comment, even when it doesn't even apply...

Executive Producers in their mid to late 20s are not at all unusual in newsrooms. Nor are News Directors in their 30s.  Only anchors and a few reporters are paid enough to stick around into their wealth-building years.  I think about a reporter I knew, this was in the late 80s, who had wanted to be a tv reporter all her life.  At 25, she had a choice between accepting a second tv contract and a raise to $15,000 or accepting an offer to do pharmaceutical sales for $60,000.  Goodbye tv.
Merry Christmas

I don't remember if I posted it before, but quite a while back there was a guest who had some previous health issues.  Norry inquired and asked him if he is okay know, etc.  The guest explained his history and mentioned that he was in bad shape but better now.

Noory casually in a low tone said "interesting take."  It's proof he was disingenuous to begin with and not paying any attention.  It was as if he became distracted and didn't hear a word the guest was saying.  Probably looking at online porn, or for sales on hair dye.

damn, i was getting my hopes up

i need to write a book or screenplay about an overnight talk radio host with dark murderous secrets and a detective who is unraveling his past - the climactic ending will take place at the historic Everett Theater where the talk show host is crooning oldies to an enraptured audience, suddenly FBI agents enter the theater, the radio host dashes off stage, the crowd gasps, the radio host has climbed into the balcony and the FBI agents follow after him, gun shots ring out, bullets ricochet, the radio host is a poor shot and numerous older people. fans of the radio host, are gunned down and bleeding out -  the mustachioed swarthy radio host is going down with a fight

Is there an obese sidekick just offstage eating a candy bar while all this is happening?

and a Twinkie, and a bag of nacho cheese Doritos.  Washed down with a diet Coke, just to stay healthy.

Huh.  I was under the belief that you just didn't move into that position and you had to earn it through experience.  Moving up the ladder so to speak.  I continue to learn new things every day.

Do it!  Then, if it's published, somehow get on the show and tell George he was the inspiration.  ;D

Ha!  Then it can be written into the script that while witnessing the carnage he chokes on the Twinkie while his lips are coated in powdered cheese from the Doritos.

oh that's a good idea, Tomm ...... er ...... I mean the fictional Middle Eastern psychopathic overnight radio host's fictional obese man baby producer Ronny will be the anonymous telephone caller feeding the detective clues that lead from St. Louis to Los Angeles to Everett to ..... dun dun dun ......... Denver, the location of not only the radio host's terrible internet TV paranormal cooking show Beyond Beef but the infamous unsolved murder of 5 year old beauty queen Belle Renee Presley.
