Oh, now you've gone and done it. You mentioned the one fast food chain that presents a major personal ethics vs. hunger cravings dilemma for me.
I had never tried Chik-Fil-A until there was a big discussion about it in this thread maybe a year or more ago.
But I don't agree nor do I like some of their political choices, so I avoided eating there on principle.
But most of you raved. A lot! So one day I decided to try it at a location right near my dry cleaners.
Unfortunately for me, I really liked the chicken filet sandwich and even worse the curly fries. And their iced tea is really good, too! What a dilemma!
So I have allowed myself now and again to be compromised, and to enjoy eating there... but not too often.
And it's all your fault! +1
@Aquarius A bunch of uproar because the CEO donated to Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Salvation Army. Organizations deemed unsavory by the liberal cancel culture because of the donations to “rabidly anti-LGBTQ organizationsâ€.
They were on the “radar†because the CEO in 2012 cane out against gay marriage. Guess who else did in 2010. President Barack Obama.
Did you ever toss some change in the red kettle at Christmas? If so, I hope you do again.
You can never be woke enough for this day and age.
I don’t eat there very often because they are always too crowded but their food sure is tasty.
