Seeing a lot of MLB talk on the sports channels now. Interviews, updates and all kinds of tidbits that nurture the fever!

I GOT DA' FEVER, PA!

Huh?  How will that be enforced?  Are they going to throw all the fans that do it out of the game?  We know that won't work.
They will stop the ballpark organist from playing the chop music.

Ahhh, I see.  Can't prevent the fans from starting their own chant though.

Why am I still hearing about Kobe, and the Astros?

These have to be the most tedious boring sports stories of the century so far, with the exception of anything involving LaVar Ball

Bastards. MLB is proposing an 82-game regional season - probably OK - but then they want universal designated hitter. The spawn of Satan.

Still significant hurdles to jump through as the owners want players to agree to a revenue split since there won't be fan attendance. I'm not holding my breath.

Senda could get a job catching for the San Francisco Giants in that case.

@GravitySucks

That's the second time you've used that, and I get it. It's your team, but c'mon man it's bloody ridiculous. Annnd by now should a regular season be well underway they would've lost every single series. And YOU know it!  :D

Yesterday, I was flipping around the tv and ran across a channel showing the 1965 All Star game. The thing that struck me was how much faster the game was. The pitcher got the ball back from the catcher, stayed on the mound, got his sign, and pitched. The batter stayed in the box, or maybe took one step out to get some dirt, and was ready to hit. I started timing the pitches. They were between 15 and 20 seconds apart.

I think they are 15-20 minutes apart now.

@juan  Cool. I'd love to see some of those old games. I haven't found much baseball on TV since I don't get some of the cable channels that show them. I have been listening to old broadcasts online though. Most recently the Pirates v. Orioles 1979 World Series.

I love baseball but the game is so hard to watch now.
