As if a real woman would want one more kiss before her lover dumps her for a new woman he had an affair with. But after 9 years of hatring this song I think I figured it out. His wife talks in her sleep about her fantasies of other men. Snorway hears it, and feels like Petula.
9 years of hating this song does not justify finally understanding it. He's playing it for himself and his needs, regardless of the fact that I've told him many times it is a song that puts down women and encourages adultery. Narcissist.
