I am finding it harder and harder to listen to and tolerate C2C, the guests, the charlatans, the scammy commercials and of course the ignorant dullard impersonating a talk show host.
I went to bed last night with Coast on, I don't sleep soundly so I heard bits and pieces of the show in my half wake half sleep state.
The first guest was what sounded like a quite intelligent filmmaker/author who unfortunately for his sake has written a book tracing our own bodies and everything else to what followed the Big Bang, which we know is our dullard host's arch nemesis so the poor man like others before him had to suffer through Noory's usual litany of child like questions about what came before the Big Bang and who put 'the stuff' there and on and on including his usual idiotic argument for 'intelligent design' - the irony of a true imbecile promoting intelligent design. I pictured the guest on the other side of the phone line letting out very deep *sighs* throughout the interview.
The second guest was a woman who's written a book that surely made Noory's nipples harden - the true story of Ari, a 6 year old little girl from rural Alabama's near death experience during a killer tornado in 2011 that took her entire family, her parents and grandparents killed while she survived claiming she actually followed her family members and saw them in Heaven and that she had had visions of the killer tornado in the weeks preceding the disaster. Ari's body was found A MILE away from where the tornado destroyed the family home in a field - pure porn for Noory, visions of JonBenet Ramsey little body hurled violently through the air for a mile danced in his head.
Noory in typical fashion handled the topic with his usual professionalism and empathy - unable to even get the order of events or those involved correct asking stupid question after stupid question.
Even half asleep this classic Noory moment caused me to laugh out loud in the darkness of my bedroom. We are talking about a little girl who experienced as violent and traumatic experience as a human being can, one that took her parents and grandparents away and Noory taking this all in gathers himself to ask what he thinks is a very profound and interesting question of the guest ......
George Noory: Lisa .... is Ari afraid of tornadoes now?
