Another frequent/regular caller to add to the list of the Sadpack.  Rob (or Bob?) from Los Angeles always has to tell us he is a former journalist and teacher who graduated from "Columbia J school."  His self-introduction has become as annoying as those of Bill (the late) AAA, MtM, and Cornelius.  People like that make the call about them, not the guest.  Assuming he's familiar with the guy's shtick, I'd very much like to hear Ian take him down like he has MtM, Cleopatra, and Joseph from Monterrey.

After some of the sad pack regulars tried to call in with Ian Punnett hosting, Ian instituted a ban on the regulars now when he hosts so the screeners don't let them thru for him.
Unfortunately the other hosts including  Knapp Syrett and Connie Willis still get calls from Cornelius and some of the others...

That's why I wondered whether or not Ian is familiar with him.  He has allowed Joseph from Monterrey to call during his "no regulars" OL segments.

Some of the more obscure "regular" callers seem to change their name or disguise themselves to get thru Ian's screeners.
Ian has recognized a few of them though and then cuts them off!

Noory recently changed the rules so callers are allowed to call in more than once a night during open lines.
He prefers the regular safe brown noser callers over unknown ones that might be what he calls "haters" who may critize him or worse bring up Art Bell...

Last night's second guest is a candidate to be named the patron saint of C2C's Sadpack. The guy was pathetic, he told us he communicates regularly with aliens, but is long estranged from his parents, has no contact with his wife (ex?) and kid(s), and lives a totally solitary life.  The best part was his translating his hermit like existence into Japanese, as if that made him noble. His only "friends" are those who've been abducted by aliens.

One of the top sadpackers, Cornelius called in near the end of the show and told that abductee guest that he has friends at c2c!
Cornelius of course claimed all the ETs are really evil fallen angels...
