For years, I would grow hop plants. I had to cut down my plants due to the invasion of the Eastern Tent Caterpillars. Horrible and ugly creatures.

Yes they are. Used to have them up in Mich as well.  Also have Fish Flies there. First time I took Mrs. Walks back "home" it was Fish Fly season. Poor thing ran around the driveway in circles screaming.

Yeah - they boil up out of the lakes. They only live a day but it's pretty intense.

I hated that rat with it's speech impediment. Yet, tongue-tie rat, made Bill smile.

The Deshler, Ohio train video is making me sleepy. When I was a kid, I would hear the trains at night. The sound would put me to sleep.
 
In Philly, hobos would ride the trains. As a kid, I was allowed to give a hobo a sandwich and some milk. However, I had to put the milk in a clean glass jar. Hobos were not allowed to touch our drinking glasses.

I can understand the train thing - same thing for me when I was a kid.

What a surprise! Michigan Technological.
Since I was employed by hospitals, I did not need background noise. I was kind of jealous of my younger brother. He has his own shop and plays his favorite music at work.
My reward? I have a good retirement plan. 
I listen to a local NHL podcast in the morning. I have been streaming KNOR as I work on my home/yard. I avoid main stream & social media. I still like Simon Parkes.
