Actually, I found a dead badger in a hedge the other day so boiled sheep will be off the menu for the next couple of weeks. There's lots of Polish food here,  even a Polish supermarket just up the road.

Anyway, you're laughably out of date. There are gastro pubs galore here now. Long gone are the days when you could only buy olive oil from the chemist.

And I refuse to be talked down to by a man who walks around with a budgie sticking out of his trouser fly.

Which I find surprising as wanker is in even more common parlance as a non swear in Oz than over here. Maybe Jazz was a lot more butthurty than we realised.

I recently ate at the Glass and Bottle in Binfield (it’s not an invitation to fight btw) which was very very good, and The Potkiln in Frilsham ... we have excellent gastropubs around here.

The Potkiln is a Game speciality gastro place ... slowly curing me of my aversion to Venison

Reminds me of the time I was at a restaurant. I ordered turbot and she went for venison. Which allowed me say 'I'm on the fish and you're on the game'. Not everyone shares my sense of humour, I found out.

BAdumtish, the people you hang out with are much too serious - there’s good reasons for shitting in Iceland (you are probably neither the first, youngest or oldest to do that) and I liked that joke!
