Dynamo, if you're interested in the psychomanteum, Raymond Moody is the expert on this, wrote about it in his book Reunions: Visionary Encounters with Departed Loved Ones, still available but from about 1993 iirc. Antecedent of the psychomanteum is the Oracle at Delphi, btw. I've done it three times, actually, had some experience, but nothing dramatic. Would love to try it again, though. Usually you need to do a longer time than 15 minutes, though, often an hour or more is better.

Moody has a formal one in Alabama that you can go to, but I'm sure you could find one somewhere nearer to you.

There is a place in Austin where the men's room has crazy mirrors that give you that effect. Mirrors on all sides. Used to be single pisser, as I recall (but looked into infinity.) I always wondered about that set up. A Chuck Berry thing going on maybe? I haven't thought of it in years since don't live near it anymore and grown up, a bit, but I always liked the bar. Yes, dingy. Yes, skanks. Yes, bartender could be rude to non-locals, Yes, fights (rare in my experience,) Yes, local drunks and Yes, some questionable characters. But had cheap drinks, pool and video games (though sometimes that section would be shut off and bar only when locals non-weekends,) and I never had a problem with the bartender etc. And used to have cheap beers, good liquor pours, free popcorn (questionable at times so check how long,) etc. But the reviews looking it up now thinking about it? Wow. Classic. Worth reading. Talk about divided opinions, mostly bad. But sometimes you want a bad dive type of place. I might need to check it out sometime again on a lark.
