There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Nope. The universe is a wondrous thing and we're all beings that are driven by our biology. There's no god, she doesn't exist, and there's probably no free will- just biological programming that drives us. But it's damn fun anyway.

Have you ever considered that most everything that we can observe in the universe is not alive?

The dominant presence on Earth may be life, but within the universe as a whole, it's a smudge mark.

What does that have to do with anything?
Alive or not, it's able to be a part of the cycle of energy of the universe. It doesn't have to be alive or sentient.

I didn't think that one was over your head.  Sometimes I make mistakes.

Since -- from all indications -- life is as aberration in the universe rather than a controlling factor, we might better spend our time trying to find some meaning in the non-life portion of it.

Alive or not, it's able to be a part of the cycle of energy of the universe. It doesn't have to be alive or sentient.

"Cycle" of energy?  Since matter/energy can't be created or destroyed, what do you mean by a "cycle"?

So how does this observation have anything to do with Goddess or no Goddess?

I hadn't intended it to be taken that way, but interestingly enough it could go either way.

An atheist would say that life is simply a statistical anomaly in the natural evolution of the universe, as governed by physical laws, and that it can only survive within that very special environment that gave rise to it in the first place.  It's powerless to do anything other than disturb that environment, temporarily, enough to reduce but not eliminate itself.  Life is pretty much irrelevant in the scheme of things, which goes against all of the teachings of the Abrahamic religions.

A believer would say that the scarcity of life is what makes it special, or that because it is special, it is scarce.  Either way, that's consistent with what the bible teaches us about god creating life and man and then getting in their shit all of the time, because he wasn't distracted by other worlds.

None of this explains why @PB are moron.  Some questions weren't meant to be answered.

It's sad.  Your Alzheimer's is so advanced that you are now replying to the same post twice within a few minutes of each other.

Cycle of Energy? Circle of Life? I adhere to the Apocrypha of The Lion King

Cycle of Energy? Circle of Life?

Those are two different things.
