Pictured is my studio desk. I love it but I hate it. I hate the fake wood laminate cover that looks so out of place.  I want it black. Anyone know of a flexible type of covering I can apply to the two levels you see in the picture?  can't paint over it.   i could place a black bed sheet over it ::)

And I was right. It was like a PB wet dream, affluent white people everywhere.

Nice! So you got to wear your sporty, little cap then?

I was sitting there watching this Northern Irish dude making out with two hot black chicks and thinking that I made a serious wrong turning in life. The bastard gets to do that every night and twice when there's a matinee.

You've always got that picture to hand haven't you? Rotten sod.

You could try self stick veneer - would be a pain to get cur right and then of course you have the band on the edge to deal with.  You could also get a hunk of 1/4" plywood and paint that.  The band on the edge is still an issue.  If it was me, I'd prime, paint and then cover it with a layer of polyurethane.  See if you can find a piece of scrap laminate to try the paint/poly on first.

https://www.accuweather.com/en/wint...a-nevada-with-over-100-inches-of-snow/1626644

The storm will create potentially deadly travel conditions along two major arteries in California.

"Donner Pass, California, along Interstate 80 and segments of I-5 in Northern California to Siskiyou Summit in southern Oregon are likely to close," Rayno added.

There is a high risk of motorists becoming stranded due to the incredible snowfall rates and the likelihood that road crews will be unable to keep up with the storm until it concludes late this weekend. This includes roads to and from the ski resorts in the region. Conditions may be life-threatening for those who become stuck outdoors in the storm.

The combination of heavy snow and high winds is likely to lead to power outages that could take many days, if not weeks, to resolve in isolated areas. Those in backwood locations will need a safe means of heat and plenty of food. Experts warn that chimneys and exhaust from furnaces will need to be kept open to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

Forgive me if I am an error, but doesn't @anniem live up in the 10 feet of snow parts? Maybe @Moosie too.

Don't forget provisions and your Coast Insider membership!

Annie is in northern Cali. They have snow at the moment, or are you wondering in general?

Is she in the atmospheric glacier's path?  Hopefully, she has her pallet of sterno...
Eh, nevermind...

I don't think you're asking the right question. But in answer you could use contact paper- it'll come off easy when you want to replace it, but it'll be hard to make look nice because of the curves.

The answer that you really need is you'll need to rough it up gently with sandpaper and put 2 coats of paint over it with a poly topcoat.

Or just buy a black desk .
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

YT keeps recommending Larry Bird trash talking videos to me.  I feel robbed.

If they look like they're 13 year old girls @sean92008 might be interested.
