Yep, after you reach a certain age it becomes more of a chore than anything. Perhaps some little nothing with a spouse, or child, or sibling.
It should go no further. Enjoy the SPIRIT of the holiday - and that ain't going broke...

If I see something I want to give somebody, I get it and give it to them.  Doesn't matter what day it is.  And all my family and friends know I seriously do not want them spending their money on me.
