It was in private correspondence.  I was just confirming that Michael Vara is not the only one that was told that.  I have never posted about it, or what I was told, but I am just confirming that I was told the same thing Vara was.  I don't know if it's from the same source or not. With COPD you lose the hypercapnic drive to breath and are left with only the hypoxic drive. Opiates depress the hypoxic drive so he would have been at higher risk for accidental suicide. Further if he was a chronic opiate user larger amounts of opiates would be normal for him so telling the difference between accidental and deliberate suicide would be a fine line.

There are only a few people that will ever know the truth of it - and I'm okay with that.
I am guessing that there was a note and everything that followed was not diabolical in nature but merely a means to protect Art's wife and kids from having to fight for the estate.
i.e. a confession of adultery.
