Agreed. In passing, I heard him be very awkward as well. I wish I could recall the incident, but it put the guest on the defensive and not because it was the guests issue, it was the guy that George brought up out of nowhere who had the problem. Very awkward.

A few years back Noory had on a real professor of Egyptology, I think she was Canadian.  This lady was no nonsense, and knew her stuff.  George told her about Louise, but the Prof just kinda grunted.  Not long afterwards, Louise called in and you could tell the guest was both appalled and embarrassed.  George urged the guest to use Louise as a resource, and encouraged her to ask questions of Cleopatra.
She eventually asked Cleo where she was buried, and of course Louise had no clue.  The professor was clearly furious.

I get it, some of these people will give their right tit/testicle to be heard by 20,000 people nationally to promote their whatever. It would be nice to hear somebody really dig into a sad packer and not only say they're nuts, but make multiple points on the subject, maybe even seeking George's acknowledgment that they're nuts.

That's happened in the past.  That gal (I think from) Washington who always starts her call with "peace, love, and joy to eveyone, everywhere" called to talk to Col John Alexander.  She launched into some really deep woo, and Col Alexander basically told her she was out of her mind.  I think Knapp was hosting that night.

Ian Punnet as a guest host ripped some of the regulars new ones.  The two best were Joe from Monterey and Mike the Millennial.  I saved the Ian/Joe call on my Witness, but when it died I lost it. He effectively told Joe he was an idiot, Mike he was a loser.  Seems he had a similar call with Cornelius.

Yep Ian eventually banned Noory's sad pack regular callers from open lines when he hosted. I think Syrett has done that now as well.
While Louise didn't call in last night Cornelius did and told his old story about seeing a cow levitating in the sky by a UFO.

I don't know if he had already banned the sad pack or was just commenting on his desire to, but I had a call with Ian and Tommy was like "yeah, go for it" during the pre-screen when I had expressed my own disdain for the sad pack.

The eminent Richard Spence was an honored guest last night on C2C promoting his latest exposé - Secret Agent 666: Aleister Crowley, British Intelligence and the Occult. Spence used to be a regular on The Other Side of Midnight. Hoagland was so insufferable on his last appearance there that Spence cut the interview himself after mere minutes. George is usually more tractable.

One of the highlights on last night's show was George's genuine gasp of horror when he first heard the theory of Barbara Bush being the daughter of Aleister Crowley. Spence shut that down pretty fast.

Cornelius got in to mention his father had been a 33rd Degree Mason. Spence responded that Crowley had been as well and that Crowley's favorite cities when he had visited America were San Antonio and New Orleans. We could feel Cornelius beaming.

Spence espoused his belief that Rudolph Steiner had been a member of the Ordo Templi Orientis under Crowley's control. This is grand heresy in the Steiner camp.

Crowley's favorite drug of choice, according to Spence, was, of all things, ether. That was worth looking into.
