... Almost too much. May have to leave the Lyft ride to Costco for another time. Or maybe the "migrants". If you've ever seen the opening to ray bradbury theatre (series) where he's in a room at his desk surrounded by items, trinkets, and conversation pieces all around the room he narrates how he never runs out of stuff to write about. It's like that in my head. I can see a scuff on my floor from here. <THAT could keep me talking for 10 minutes alone. See?
So thanks to this thread, today of course I had to pick up some tacos or a tostada or something on the way home.
I stop in the local place, and they have a new poster on the wall by the cash register. It's fantastic, so I ask the guy about it. I know it's Day of the Dead related but there's more going on than just the skulls and costume. He tells me it's ''Frida'', and repeats it a couple times. Frida? Frida Kahlo? Turns out it was, she had a Day of the Dead thing going on in some of her painting, dressed up for the holiday, had all that creepy memorabilia in her living room and so on.
Anyway, the poster looked a lot like this one, maybe some of the colors were different, more reds than browns. What's going on with the marionettes, apparently that was part of her thing to? Sort of a sinner in the hands of an angry god theme?
Pretty hot, right?
