I went to Acapulco way back in the 80s. The place was kinda run down back then, I hear it's become pretty violent lately. Was a trip seeing soldiers patrolling the beach with M-16s,

All I know about it is that they used to have cliff diving from there on the Wide World of Sports TV show.  Certainly looked alot prettier than Flint.

Whoa, I forgot all about the cliff divers. I saw one dive. Acapulco was okay, but it was past its prime. It was the place to go in the 50s and 60s but not modern like Ixtapa.
