His sister Joyce was born in March 1963, one month after his father George left Taiwan for other duties. And she was probably the reason he returned (other than he loved Dietrich's mother) in 1965 after he retired. So George would have been certain both children were his as he was in Tawain when both of them were conceived.
You can bet he did his best to ensure his wife had good medical care too, if not from the US Navy by the Taiwanese. He would have had no problem communicating with the Base in Taiwan for the final two years until he returned. Dietrich is making a big mistake by claiming this at all, let alone embellishing it to include his elder sister.
