Polly Holliday - "Flo" from ALICE.

I remember when she died. It wasn't too long after I saw her in a television commercial (post ALICE) for some product. A few years later, she was gone.

But she isn't gone. She is 84.

For me, this one is just as odd as the Jimmie Walker Incident. Maybe more so.

Wow! I swear he died in a plane crash with his wife who's some pastor now... Err... then.

I see the confusion now, his son was shot after killing his mother, Ely's wife. 

I conflated that with Joe Lara, another Tarzan, who did die in a plane crash with his wife.

I would think that David is best known for (Like PB said) having played Illya Kuryakin on the original The Man from U.N.C.L.E.  That show ran for four seasons and I watched it religiously but I can't recall any of the episodes.  He also had a starring role in the movie The Great Escape, and appeared on the original Outer Limits, Night Gallery and The Six Million Dollar Man.
