Maybe someone finds his kooky antics likeable!! Maybe he is a good guy acting a part. Couldn't that be?
Though I don't particularly like
him, I like the
idea of jaygab. His shtick isn't clever but he does stand in contrast to an atmosphere that, at times, comes across as rather aspartame, where the substance of posts is not as important as giving likes in return for likes...which gets confused for actually being liked. Don't get me wrong, Bartland is the bees' knees, and I enjoy some of the posts and the perception I have of those who pen them; I'll even give out likes if a post is compelling for whatever reason, it's just that viewing the whole karma thing as a homeroom-type Popularity Contest to be taken seriously isn't
my thing. For some, it's a game and their participation is fun and ironic. That's different and I actually enjoy that. Your mileage may vary.
Besides, it's almost like he either doesn't care or actually wants to be smited. Hmmmmm
