Bart,
Does this represent latent homosexual tendencies or everyone is a little gay? The last one sounds a little Freudian. Follow up question- how do you feel about being sexually harassed?

I feel like everyone should have side bets on what they think you’ll say.

I'm not gay but thank God Bart was that Christmas.

The more a person pretends they are not gay, the gayer they actually are.

When I was seventeen or eighteen, a well-known singer and the guitarist in his new band struck up a conversation with young Bart and ended up inviting me back to their place to listen to their new project.
This was my first male-male proposition.
A few months earlier, a woman had approached me and screamed in my ear,  Es-tu bisexuel? while her guy waited in the wings.
The music was loud, and my brain wasn’t translating what she was saying.
Like a perfectly scripted scene, the music stopped just as I was screaming back, “WHAT? AM I A BICYCLE?”
What’s the point here, your day-drunk ass may be asking?
When your ego is big enough, it’s great to be wanted by everyone, even if you’re only interested in a few of them.
The few with nice boobies and no cottage cheese on their asses.

Bi.

On August 13, 2007, Sal was paid $500 to dip his uncircumcised penis into paint and paint Richard's face like an Indian. At the end he put his uncircumcised penis into Richard's mouth. Richard claims it only 'hit his teeth'

Mein Gott. And you're worried about a little Welsh merriment.

Bart, are you concerned you might be setting a bad example?

I'll take my P*** straight with a dash of bitters.

Not worried about little Welsh merriment.
Worried about a little Welsh. She'll be here on the 22nd. They got that square head with the thick square hair. Blockheads.

Not sure if you were ever in a cover situation where you did all or most of the vocals but if so were there ever any seemingly 'easy songs' to sing that gave you a problem for some reason?

I can think of 3 off the top of my head that other singers with half my range ETC sang with ease on a nightly basis while I dreaded seeing them on the set list.

Fire Woman (The Cult) No matter what, winded during the choruses and sounding strained and pitchy.
Good Lovin' Gone Bad (Bad Company) Similar problems but the phrasing also threw me.
Lonely Nights (Brian Adams) A mix of the above.

..just..  ::)

One of the last jobs I did was submit a cover of We Carry On by Voivod for an Amazon show called The Sticky.
The singer is French writing and singing in English and I could never wrap my mind around his phrasing.
I couldn't get this verse to sound right for me.
If I used English phrasing it didn't have the right feel, if I tried copying his phrasing it sounded messed up.

I could never get the words "sharing" and "reinventing" to sound right to me.
It didn't get used so maybe they heard it too.
This is what I ended up with

ahh. The lyrics in the 2nd verse do not roll off smoothly like they do in the 1st verse. I think you managed to get it and sort of make it your own. I bought it.

Voivod. Now there's a name I haven't heard in yeeeaaars.  Wonder if they're SWORD fans.  8)

Damn Bart, this makes you sound pretty hot. :-*
I mean I’m as shocked as the rest of us but I’m not complaining.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

No being yourself in that job, though.

The Big 3 in Montreal at the time were Deaf Dealer, Sword and Voivod... in that order.
Turns out the order was in reverse.
Speaking of Sword - here is an unneeded cover with Rick and Ozzy's Speak Of The Devil band from last year.

The Real Me is one of my top 10 all time songs. Man I enjoyed the snot outta that. Gillis and that Red strat of his, although I imagine he has many. Liked Aldridge since Black Oak and every band since. Sarzo is Sarzo. Fun stuff.

Wasn't Killer Dwarfs a Montreal band? I would think they were right up there. I remember them on a cassette I had called Metal For Breakfast. Mixed tape that had them, Dokken, Y&T and others. Pre Tooth & Nail I think..

Your X-Landlord covered The Real Me, I'm sure you're aware. I have always been in LOVE with his vocals here. Smokin'

No, Toronto.

The WASP version is my favorite  mostly due to Frankie Banali.

If you have not gone down the Johnny Rod rabbit hole yet there is a lot of sick shit awaiting you.
