Our heros in Honolulu Blue and Silver have a tough one this week - Minnesota. The Vikings are not good - their defense stinks, which gives the Lions a chance. The good news is that the Vikings offense is not bad at all and that Cousins is pretty good in non-vital games. There is danger but I think the Lions will manage to pull it out and get crushed.

The Lions blew their rare chance at an almost perfect season.  Things were looking grim as they held a 2 point lead, late in the 4th quarter.  4th down and 2, inside their own 30 yard line - any sane franchise would punt and try and hold.  Not the Lions of course.  They go for it and lose 9 yards and the ball:

Things start looking bright as the Vikings almost immediately score and take the lead. Classic Lions!  Me so happy!!!!!!

Sadly, Goff makes a fairly impressive drive and throws a TD pass on the last play of the game and the dream of 0-16-1 is dashed.

Jags fans are happy about Urban but still very angry.  Since Shad Kahn bought the team, they are 41-116 with one season without double-digit losses.  They are clearly the worst team in the league as they will prove Sunday against Houston.

The Texans got shut out 2 weeks ago. At home. By the Colts. 31-0. Who were .500 at the time mainly because the first time they played the Texans lost 31-3.

I watched a football game, well a quarter and a half, on Amazon Prime. Rooting actively against the Chargers.

This was a pretty awful moment in the game tonight when tight end Donald Parham jumped up to catch a ball in the end zone. Looked innocent enough. The way his hands and arms were moving involuntarily was really scary. Definite brain injury but let's hope it's all temporary
