Yeah, put 'em on their heels.

LOL   They remind me of Vancouver fans.  Not really a good thing.

@Walks_At_Night Jays have always had a problem with the Mariners and the Rays. Season after season, year after year like a curse so I'm not holding my breathing patterns or counting chickens that haven't even hatched yet because that would be insane. But we'll see, now that the foot's on the other table we may be surprised. Glenn.

BTW I know you're doing the patriotic thing and cheering on the Mars. Don't lie buttercup.

... Jays... Mariners... Rays...

Expansion teams.  They shouldn't even qualify for the playoffs.

Yet they do so it's sort of a moot point, innit!

Should we only have the OG-6 NHL teams?

EDIT: Should the Jays lose I 100% agree with you.

Its not baseball with the DH, six-foot square bases, and no spitball.  And no Braves on WTBS.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

2 leagues, 10 teams each, winners meet in the World Series.

Better yet, 8 teams each.

Player introductions. Minutes away from first pitch!

I hope they checked the tires on this bandwagon I hopped on..

@PB   You're a PNW guy so why not cheer on YOUR Mariners? C'mon, it'll be fun.       I hope.

Growing up, the closest teams were the SF Giants and Oakland A's.  I'd come visit my uncle in San Ho and see a game or two of whichever team was in town.  By the time the M's were created, I already had my teams and already knew I was moving down here after college.  Plus 'Mariners' is an awful name, especially in a town of SuperSonics, Seahawks, and Sounders.  Even the single-season Pilots (now Milwaukee Brewers) was at least a nod to local company Boeing.

Anyway, since the 1994 strike I don't watch anything except cycling.  I don't go to games except for a few free passes to corporate boxes here and there.  I keep up with the local teams, but only thru news articles and some sports talk radio in the car.  I spend my ballgame money on concerts, and have so much more free time not watching games every night.

Oh, and F Seattle (but that's another story for another time).

And now?  I'm not cheering for the same teams those fans are.

Darn it man,the Jays needed to jump on the buggers the first game.  Tigers wore their staff down and they get three scoreless innings out of the bullpen?   Not a good start.

I'd rather see the Pyongyang Carp win it.
