I went in not knowing. It's all a bunch o' shit. Unwatchable.

If you have Netflix, I believe they have The Pacific available. Binge on that.

Although they stopped making it about a decade ago. I just started watching Community a few months ago. Surprisingly (for a show written by and for Americans) it's actually very clever and amusing. They put so many Easter eggs in it that you have to watch each episode several times before you work out what's happening.

I find The Office US much funnier when I watch the clips on YT. I don't particularly enjoy watching whole episodes. Creed Bratton is hilarious.

Roku also has Leave it to Beaver - good stuff.  You can watch Wally get smitten with the "wrong" kind  of girl.

Do you think that's appropriate? Always with the passive aggressive shots every chance you get. Calm down, pass the crumpets.

And if you threaten to beat me up again, I'll report you.

Do they allow you to watch the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons episode over there?  All of the streaming services here have removed it.

I haven't had a TV for decades, I watch everything on a torrent or a streaming service. I don't even know if they showed it over here on a terrestrial channel. I know what you mean, with Chang blacking up. They probably show it.

Does anyone watch Rick and Morty? I watched the first season and it was OK, but they are still making them and I wondered if it gets any better over the next five seasons.

I used a "best episodes" list.  On this side of the pond, quantity over quality... Just look at Ford, Chevrolet and General Motors...

Eh, maybe not a good choice... Jagwire and Land Rover suck in low quantities.

How about Budweiser v. Guinness?
Eh, nevermind...

I don't know why anyone drinks Budweiser. Guinness is fine if you get the export stuff in the small bottles, otherwise it's too watery.

Budweiser, the self-proclaimed "King Of Beers"  ::)

I have always said that Guinness is the true King. No doubt about it.

You mention the bottles, I prefer the tall black can with the 'floating widget' that is featured in the Guinness documentary. I did not find the bottled stuff to be as authentic to the stuff you get on tap at the pub. The can with the widget was identical the pub experience. This was in Canada.
Down here I find the canned stuff to be as you say, watery. I don't know why that would be, but I will try the bottles down here. Perhaps the good stuff is in the bottle when enjoyed in America.

Love me some black gold.

Agreed. Massive improvement.

I was introduced to the cartridge in Watneys Red Barrel. I later found a cartridge-free can (it was piss mixed with shit). Uh, it's been 30+ years since I had a WRB...

This is the one I'm talking about:

https://hogsback.co.uk/products/copy-of-augustiner-edelstoff-1

It's a much more intense flavour, much better than the stuff you get usually. And it's 8%. The bottles are quite small, that's the only thing against them.

Vince Gilligan announced he is about to begin writing  his new series.  He didn't say anything about it other than it will be set in Albuquerque and will star Rhea Seahorn.
